MindPass Terms of Use

The service

MindPass helps adults manage their own screen time through app protection, short discoveries, questions and earned passes. It is a self-management tool, not a medical treatment or a guarantee that apps cannot be opened. Screen Time authorisation, operating-system behaviour and device settings affect protection. You can revoke authorisation in iOS Settings.

Free and Pro features

All app blocking, the Default schedule, up to four additional focus routines, strict mode, regular discoveries, quizzes, earned passes, memory checks and basic progress are free. Each routine supports its own individual apps, weekdays and up to two scheduled windows. Pro provides personalised six-lesson learning paths; it is not required to use Screen Time protection or any focus schedule.

Subscriptions and trials

Monthly and annual subscription prices, currency, billing period and applicable taxes are shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation. An eligible annual subscription may include a seven-day introductory trial; eligibility and the offer actually shown by Apple determine availability. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation or when an eligible trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Restore purchases in MindPass when needed. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s policies and applicable consumer law.

Personalised-path allowance

Pro includes ten successfully generated personalised paths per UTC calendar month, shared across trial and paid access. Each path contains six lessons. Unused allowance does not roll over. In-progress requests temporarily reserve capacity; failed requests release it. Retrying the same completed request does not consume another path. The allowance is linked to your verified billing account, not a device installation. The free Everyday Curiosity sample uses bundled discoveries and consumes no generation allowance.

When Pro ends

Generated paths already available to you remain readable. You cannot generate new personalised paths without active Pro access. All focus routines and app protection continue without a subscription. Deleting your account removes your saved paths and learning data; it does not cancel your Apple subscription.

Learning content and responsible use

AI-generated lessons may contain errors or omissions. Verify important claims independently; lesson content is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Do not submit confidential information, unnecessary personal information, unlawful requests, or material you lack permission to use. You may use learning content for personal learning; do not misuse the service, bypass accounting controls or interfere with other users or systems.

Privacy, availability and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains data processing. The service may occasionally be unavailable or require updates. We may improve or change features, with notice where required by law or store rules. These terms do not exclude statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Apple’s standard application licence also applies where applicable.
